ABOUT GEORETRIEVER™ FOR OZIEXPLORER

GeoRetriever™ software works behind the scenes with OziExplorer's mapping software to transform GPS "x, y" coordinates into legal land descriptions. No more re-plotting and manually converting data, or worse yet, guess estimating your whereabouts in the field. Now you can get your bearings with a legal subdivision (LSD), section, township, range and meridian based on the Western Canada Dominion Land Survey System.

At present the program will only work with the Alberta data, but B.C. and Saskatchewan will be available shortly.

It all happens in real time and in sync with OziExplorer's moving map feature, giving you data you can use and under stand immediately.

Plots townships, sections, and legal subdivisions (LSD) as tracks in OziExplorer
Create waypoints at the section corners or the center of a legal subdivision (LSD)
Displays the offset distance, bearing and direction from a section corner
Displays road allowance between sections
Shows the legal land description including legal subdivision (LSD), section, township, range and meridian in real time in OziExplorer's moving map display.

To update to the free latest version go to www.oziexplorer.com, click on Software/OziExplorer/Download/Upgrading from a Previous Version/Download Upgrade to the latest version. The upgrade will install over the previous version and preserve all your settings.)
